This enzyme is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which DHT can contribute to the shrinking of hair follicles and the progressive miniaturization of hair, eventually leading to hair thinning and loss.

There are numerous treatments for dealing with hair loss, including hair transplantation, which is highly expensive. Another option is to use Minoxidil 5%, a contemporary drug administered topically to accelerate hair growth. However, after utilizing this treatment, it was discovered that when the prescription was stopped, hair loss gradually returned within 4 to 6 months. Furthermore, utilizing the medicine may result in unwanted effects such as irritation to the skin and facial hair sprouting.

Many natural substances have the effect of preventing hair loss such as Avicennia marina Forsk, especially cannabis extracts that include essential cannabinoids, which are naturally occurring compounds. CBD has also been employed in prior studies to investigate outer root sheath keratinocytes (ORSKs) cells. CBD has been reported to influence hair cells via the adenosine receptor, which aids in the prevention of inflammation and hair loss.

We are aware of the development of research on hemp extracts and cannabinoids on hair growth using 3D hair follicle cells, which is a method of growing cells in a state comparable to the body, because of the concerns listed above. This leads to the creation of a product that will solve hair loss issues and pharmaceutical side effects.
